Question 1

Is Buildin Forms free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can create unlimited forms and collect unlimited responses for free — including file uploads and conditional logic that other tools charge for.

Question 2

Do people need an account to respond?

Accepted Answer

No. Set sharing to Anyone with the link and people can respond without signing up. Prefer to restrict it? Choose signed-in users, workspace members, or invite-only.

Question 3

What field types can I add?

Accepted Answer

Over 20 — short and long text, email, phone, URL, number, date, single and multi-select, checkboxes, and file or image uploads. Every answer maps to a column in your database.

Question 4

Can I add conditional logic to my form?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Build rules like “if this answer, jump to that question” to branch or skip, so each respondent only sees what’s relevant to them.

Question 5

Where do the responses go?

Accepted Answer

Straight into a Buildin table in your workspace, where you can sort, filter, group, assign and follow up — no exporting required.

Question 6

Can I match the form to my brand?

Accepted Answer

Add a cover image, header and footer, customize the closing page, and preview everything before you share the link.

Question 7

Can I create a survey or questionnaire, not just a form?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The same form works for surveys, questionnaires, registrations and feedback. Mix single and multiple choice, text fields, dates and file uploads, and use skip logic so each person only sees the questions that apply. Every response is collected in a database table.

Question 8

How is Buildin different from Google Forms?

Accepted Answer

Responses land straight in a Buildin database table, in the same workspace as your docs and projects. Sort, filter, group and assign them without exporting to a spreadsheet. Forms and responses are unlimited on the free plan.
